E-commerce-Shopping Cart Area-Coupon Code Function

Hi All,

     Currently I am working on a website which requires a coupon code functionality to offer marketing promotions. Does anyone know if this is something available that I may incorporate into the site or must I write it from scratch.  Please advise and thank you in advance.

 The short answer is probably not.
 The long answer depends on how your website was built. Is it running on some standard e-commerce solution or it is a custom made built from scratch website ?
